Abstract

Femi Osofisan as a social crusader has an optimistic vision of the future with a view of achieving viable democratic soc1al order. He not only attacks all forms of corruption, oppression, injustice and tyranny, but presents an egalitarian socio-political society in which everyone has equal opportunity. With this, patriarchal oppression on the feminine gender, love and sexuality are associated with freedom and free-will. Exploitation, liberation and dehumanization are factors under consideration. The concept of fate and destiny dangles as social principles radiate challenges to acceptability or rejection. This paper considers Love-Hate Triangle; Engagement, Marriage, and Nigerian Societal Values; Revolutionary Fervour and Developmental Trends.
