Abstract

Nigeria faces a fluid, dynamic, and complex terrorist activities against civilians and the military in recent times. There is an increase in the sources of terrorism, a wider array of terrorism targets, a greater cooperation among terrorist groups, and an evolution in terrorist tactics and communications methodology. The emerging insurgency threat has come with several challenges, which relate to the protection of women and girls in the North East Nigeria.
