However, the violation of the content of the constitution in any given state (country) is antithetical to the advancement of the said state; this is what is referred to as the abuse of the constitution. Hence, the constitution is the supreme law of the land, so that no individual or group of individuals is obliged to act contrary to the dictates of the constitution.
