UMMAH for countering violent extremism

UMMAH is a strategy designed to counter violent extremism in Nigeria. It is an acronym which stands for Using Muslims Mannerism and Habits (UMMAH) for CVE. The strategy moved beyond conventional counterterrorism strategy and relied on exploring the strength of identity and culture in CVE.
